Repeatedly commended for wide range of resources produced and shared with colleagues. Second school placement was at Moseley Language College during summer term.

Apr. - Nov. '02: Business Development Information Manager, providing direct support to the VP - Business Development with the production of a wide variety of reports, briefings and presentations. Building on existing communication, analysis and networking skills and developing new reporting processes for use throughout the organisation. Also delivering some in-company training.

Aug. '01 - Apr. '02: Product Planning Analyst, responsible for preparation and delivery of a series of workshops to determine long-term company strategy across a range of product groups. Using and developing skills in analysis, communication and facilitation across a range of levels in the organisation.

July 1999 - July 2001

Hikone Nishi High School, Shiga-ken, Japan

Assistant Language Teacher on the government-sponsored JET Programme, team-teaching English to classes of up to 40 students at three high schools. Responsible for the preparation of all lessons taught plus the English Club's activities at my base school and two prefectural English festivals. Also passed Level 3 of the Japanese Proficiency Test with 87% overall.

This entailed working to tight deadlines; extensive market research; interpretation and analysis of large amounts of complex information; formulation of presentations to convey complex data in clear and simple terms.

  • 1 year on Graduate Training Scheme (placements in Electronic Design, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Materials Procurement and PCB Manufacturing Departments)
